Keyboard friendly tree views

It is quite standard in IDE's nowadays that tree view controls are keyboard friendly. If you have drilled down to a child node which is not expanded, the left key should jump to the parent node. If you again press the left key, and the selected node is an expanded parent, it should collapse. Likewise, the right arrow should expand the node.

Hi guys, thanks for looking at this. Just a shame that the left arrow does not jump to parents in the tree views. When I'm navigating big trees, I need to do a lot of scrolling back to parent items to collapse them. Normally if your on a leaf item, or on a tree item that is already collapsed, and you press left, you will jump to the parent node.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the quick response. I had a look and the Connection Tree works 100%. Much better.

Unfortunately - there may still be a few treeviews which don't do this. One that I can immediately see is the data result view. When it is switched to tree view mode (ctrl-1), this tree view does not function as nicely with the keyboard as the connection tree view.

Regards
