Why different implementation of watch function?

Hi I started using change streams and enjoyed using it on NoSQLBooster, but on the shell i used it in a different way. I just wanted to know why you decided to implement your own 'watch' function. Are there any advantages of doing that?

I searched with Google but did not find any workable "change stream" example which uses Mongo Shell JS. If you know that, can you give me an example?
We have not implemented the Watch method again, we just uses the MongoDB Nodejs driver implementation .
