Cut/Copy/Paste in editor context menu doesn't work

On a Mac, if you are editing a query, select some text, right click and select Copy, nothing gets copied to the clipboard. Cut and Paste commands from the right click menu don't appear to do anything either. The keyboard shot cuts and the top menu work, but not the right click menu.

Same issue in mac with v4.7.0.
i tried removing the local user directory and starting again but no luck.

It is a regression bug that only exists in MacOS.
