Upgrading 6 licenses to site license

Hi, I am trying to get my supervisor to purchase commercial licenses. He is asking, if we buy 6 licenses now, and then later we decide to buy a site license, can the site license take $1000 off of the total cost? We only need 6 licenses right now, but in about a year, we will need more.
